More freezer meals

Ok so were  not out of freezer meals yet but I wanted to add some more and I need more breakfast meals. I have also learned that some of these freezer meals just do not work out as well as one would expect! And that some of my more ‘creative’ ones the kids will NOT eat! The meals with ground beef turned out OK….the beef needs to be browned just a bit so the blood doesn’t seep into the other food, makes the other food kind of gross! The vegetables need to be blanched before they are frozen. I have a couple of sites pinned for blanching on pinterest.

Ok so here we go;

Green Smoothies

  • fruit- all kinds
  • spinach
  • coconut water/almond milk/coconut milk/water/milk
  • flax seed
  • cane sugar/honey
  1. cut up the fruit you want to use.
  2. put the fruit and spinach in a bag.
  3. freeze them
  4. when you are going to make one put the fruit in the blender and add whatever kind of liquid you want and a sweetener if needed.


  • Everyone makes it different……just dont cook it after you assemble it  and freeze it

Breakfast bowls

  • eggs
  • turkey sausage
  • cheese
  • hash browns
  • salsa
  • gravy
  • peppers
  • onions
  • homemade gravy (made from beef broth/wheat flour/butter)
  1. prepare it all and put it in bowls, except for the salsa and gravy, only add one of those. And I made a HUGE mistake in making these… can not put aluminum foil in a microwave! Dumbass!


  • eggs
  • turkey sausage
  • cheese
  • grands biscuits
  1. rolls out the grands
  2. add what you want
  3. cook the

Tomato Basil Soup

  • 8 peeled tomatoes
  • 8 cups of tomato juice
  • fresh basil
  • half and half
  • real butter
  • salt/pepper
  1. cook the tomatoes and juice in a large stock pot for an hour.
  2. let them cool just a bit
  3. put them in the blender and puree them with basil
  4. put back in stock pot
  5. add half and half and  butter and salt/pepper
  6. let simmer for a couple hours
  7. let cool completely
  8. put in freezer bags

……pasta I made up

  • bow tie pasta
  • tomatoes
  • puree
  • parmasean
  • motz
  • galic
  • onions
  • salt/pepper
  • beef/italian sausage
  • beef broth
  • spinach
  1. I made a home made sauce with all this junk in it.
  2. boil the pasta
  3. brown meat
  4. put it all in a pan
  5. top with motz

Margarita pizza

  • homemade wheat pizza dough
  • pizza sauce
  • fresh basil
  • motz
  1. make dough
  2. cook it till it is lite brown
  3. add sauce/basil/cheese
  4. cook

Spinach and Motz Calozone

  • wheat flour
  • yeast
  • water
  • sea salt
  • honey
  • spinach
  • motz
  • garlic
  • red pepper flakes
  1. make homemade bread out of yeast, wheat flour, honey, sea salt, water
  2. let it rise
  3. cook spinach with garlic
  4. add red pepper flakes
  5. roll out dough in the size you want
  6. add motz and spinach
  7. cook for a few minutes so they are not sticky when you put them in the bag to freeze them.
